Dance on little flame; yes dance on

for who can guess when you will drown

in a murky pool of melted

wax melted via your own heat

Dance on oh little flame; dance on

for at any second a gust

could bluster over you eating

away all of your oxygen

For you see I’m content

to sit here watching you

with your graceful footfalls

You are truly beauty

personified on earth

and I’m awed by your glow

Dance on my little flame; dance on

by your light darkness flees
